Florence city center walking tour & Tuscan aperitif

Walking tour in Florence, with the external visit of the Duomo complex: the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore famous all over the world for the Cupola by Brunelleschi, the Campanile by Giotto and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, patron of the city. Walking by the impressive little streets of the medieval city center seeing the old tower houses we arrive directly in the heart of our Florence, Piazza della Signoria. Here there is Palazzo Vecchio, the symbol of the civic power of Florence for over seven centuries, in which we can admire the internal Court by Michelozzo. Just few steps to reach the famous Ponte Vecchio, known throughout the world as the Golden Bridge, for its important goldsmiths and silversmith's Florentine shops. The tour will end with a Tuscan aperitif with Tuscany wine and some typical Tuscany snacks.

Accademia Gallery

A special guided tour to discover Michelangelo and his masterpieces like the Prigioni, San Matteo and in particular the famous David, that is here since 1873, when the Gallery has been costructed to contain it. In the next rooms, realized from two ancient convents, we can find different collections from the Accademia del Disegno, Accademia delle Belle Arti and the convents.

Uffizi Gallery

This is one of the most famous museums of paintings and sculpture in the world. Its collection of Primitive and Renaissance paintings comprises several universally acclaimed masterpieces of all time, including works by Giotto, Simone Martini, Piero della Francesca, Fra Angelico, Filippo Lippi, Sandro Botticelli, Mantegna, Correggio, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio. German, Dutch and Flemish masters are also well represented with important works by Dürer, Rembrandt and Rubens. The Uffizi Gallery occupies the top floor of the large building erected by Giorgio Vasari between 1560 and 1580 to house the administrative offices of the Tuscan State. The Gallery was created by Grand-duke Francesco I and subsequently enriched by various members of the Medici family, who were great collectors of paintings, sculpture and works of art. The collection was rearranged and enlarged by the Lorraine Grand-dukes, who succeeded the Medici, and finally by the Italian State.

Museo Gucci

In the heart of Florence we can find the new Gucci Museum, the only official museum of the famous brand. Gucci was born in Florence thanks by the fantasy of the prestigious and original tradition artisan known all over the world. You can visit the museum of 1700mq of three floors where it is collected the history of this famous brand from the beginning to the last creations. The items inside change very quickly so you can always find something new and very particular realized from Gucci for a very special occasion, like the dresses for the Oscar actress or for Charlote Casiraghi and so on.
